Kulhanek Claims HOT ASCS Regional Showdown

July 23, 2010 Waco, Texas: The current American Sprint Car Series Gulf South point leader Ray Allen Kulhanek represented his series well by winning Friday night’s ASCS Gulf South v.s. ASCS Lone Star event at Heart O’Texas Speedway. The 2005 ASCS Gulf South champ raced from the front row outside to his first win of the year and tenth Gulf South score of his career in the opening leg of the Gulf South v.s. Lone Star Showdown. Kulhanek raced to the stripe in David Miller’s Miller’s RV Park/Smiley’s Racing Products 105 Machine & Custom-powered J&J ahead of Skip Wilson with Gary Wright claiming the show position. Claud Estes crossed fourth with Kolt Walker rounding the Top Five. Preston Peebles II was sixth with Joshua Hodges, 18th starter Tommy Bryant and 20th starter Brandon Corn completing the Top Nine.
